Step 1: Unbox Your Trezor

Start by unboxing your Trezor hardware wallet. Make sure the device is in its original, sealed package. Never use a Trezor that appears tampered with.

• Check for a tamper-proof seal.
• Verify that your Trezor is genuine by checking the holographic sticker on the box.

Step 2: Connect Your Trezor to Your Computer

Connect the Trezor device to your computer using the included USB cable. This will allow you to begin the setup process.

• Make sure your computer is connected to the internet.
• Download the Trezor Bridge software if you haven't done so already.
• Visit the official Trezor website to begin the installation.

Step 3: Follow the On-Screen Instructions

Once the Trezor device is connected, follow the on-screen instructions to set up your wallet. You'll be guided to create a secure PIN and recovery seed.

• Choose a strong PIN to protect your wallet.
• Write down your 24-word recovery seed and store it safely (offline).
• Confirm your recovery seed by entering it back into the device.
